The Breitling Chronomat GMT (Reference AB0410) is a substantial, professional-grade pilot's chronograph featuring an in-house movement and dual-time capabilities. It's 47mm stainless steel case (18mm thick) gives the watch a real wrist presence, along with a substantial water resistance of 500 metres, which is exceptional for a non-diving chronograph, allowing it to serve as a versatile multi-purpose sports watch.
The watch also incorporates a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and unidirectional rotating bezel featuring Breitling’s signature four rider tabs to assist with grip.
The watch is powered by the Breitling Calibre B04, an in-house, COSC-certified automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and affords a 70 hour power reserve. The chronograph feature is a column-wheel mechanism for a smooth operation of the central seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour counters. This movement also features a GMT function via a central 24-hour hands to track a second time-zone. This 'local hour-hand' is independently adjustable without having to stop the watch.
This example, dating to circa 2014, is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition with minimal signs of wear. The watch is presented on it's original Breitling black leather strap with contrast stitching and Breitling pin-buckle, however, there is some wear to the strap. The watch comes with its original triple-box set and inner leather travel pouch (this shows normal signs of deterioration), hang-tag, bezel-protector, model manual, chronometre certificate, and original stamped international warranty certificate.
