The dimensions are 38.5 mm wide by 58.2 mm lug-to-lug, it wears much larger than those numbers suggest. To make the watch very wearable, Breitling curved (cambered) the entire case-back and crystal to hug the natural contour of the wrist. Instead of traditional round pump-pushers that stick out, the chronograph pushers are sculpted, flat rocker-levers that flow perfectly into the side profile of the case.
The hour indices are not painted; they are faceted baton markers inlaid with real Mother-of-Pearl. The oversized Roman numeral "XII" at the top is also inlaid with it, providing an iridescent flash against the silver backdrop.
Right below the 12 o'clock marker sits a twin-aperture grand date. Instead of a single wheel with numbers 1–31, it uses two independent, side-by-side discs (one for the tens digit, one for the single units) to make the date highly legible.
The watch is powered by the Breitling 44B automatic movement, which utilises the highly reliable, ETA 2892-A2 as an ebauche. Breitling then adds a specialised mechanical chronograph module and a big-date complication module on top.
The movement is officially chronometer certified by the COSC, meaning it is tested to run precisely within -4 to +6 seconds per day. It operates at a smooth 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), contains 38 jewels, and has a 42-hour power reserve.
The case-back is solid steel and heavily engraved with the iconic "Bentley Winged B" logo. The watch has an impressive 100 meters of water resistance—very rare for a rectangular chronograph.
This particular example, which dates to circa 2007/2008, is in good condition for its age, showing some signs of wear in the highly polished surfaces. The watch is offered on a brand new Breitling textured blue rubber strap with stainless-steel Breitling deployant, it comes as a full-set with bespoke Breitling for Bentley green outer cardboard/leather box, inner dark green leather travel case, model reference book, chronometre certificate and original international warranty booklet.
