The round case is 42mm in diameter, crafted from stainless steel with a thickness of approximately 13mm. Its most notable feature is the blue synthetic spinel or sapphire cabochon crown, which is set within a protective arch integrated into the bezel.
The dial is silver Guilloché dial with large black Roman numeral hour markers and a signature "railway" minute track.
The hands are blued-steel in a sword-shape hand that offer a classic contrast against the silvered dial.
The watch is powered by the Cartier Calibre 049 (based on the ETA 2892) automatic movement.
The watch features a calendar aperture (date window) positioned at 3 o'clock, and utilises a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that is slightly domed to match the case's curvature.
The watch is rated at 3 bar (30 metres/100 feet) water resistance.
This particular model is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and comes with it's original Cartier box and unsigned guarantee booklet.
