The reference 2740 continues the legacy of the original Cartier Santos, designed in 1904 for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, by taking its iconic square shape and expanding it to "XL" modern proportions. The robust, angular lines and visible screws on the bezel and case create a distinctive and sporty yet elegant look. The curved case design helps it hug the wrist comfortably despite its substantial size and weight.
This example is in exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition and comes on a new Cartier leather-lined fabric strap with Cartier deployant clasp. The watch will be delivered with its original Cartier inner and outer box set, with owners manual and original Cartier guarantee booklet stamped and dated June 2007.
