A modern interpretation of Seiko’s iconic Speedtimer, first introduced in 1969 and celebrated as an important milestone in the development of automatic chronographs.

Part of the Prospex collection and inspired by classic motorsport, this edition features a distinctive ‘Champagne Shower’ dial with gold tone accents, inspired by the colours and character of classic racing cars from the 1960s and 1970s. The hour and minute hands are styled after the original 1969 Speedtimer, while the bi-colour aluminium bezel with tachymeter markings and chronograph scale retain the unmistakable character of the original.

Powered by Seiko’s in-house V192 solar movement, the watch offers a six month power reserve when fully charged and an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month. The 41.4mm stainless steel case is paired with a stainless steel bracelet and sapphire crystal, with 100 metre water resistance making it suited to everyday wear.
